The classification project \u201cThe Names of the Land\u201d places value, first of all, on the origin of grapes. It is the land, the 12 villages, the 459 locations, and the estates in DOQ Priorat that add the particular singularity to vineyards that are grown in it, by following the traceability process developed by Consell Regulador de la DOQ Priorat, which allows us to guarantee, from the origin, the provenance of grapes used in wine elaboration.<\/p>\n
Today, 51 wineries in DOQ Priorat are part of \u201cThe Names of the Land\u201d classification project. Specifically, from the 2020 vintage and earlier, the Consell Regulador is carrying out the traceability of 41 wineries as\u00a0Vi de Vila<\/i>; 31 as\u00a0Vi de Paratge<\/i>; 3 as\u00a0Vinya Classificada<\/i>; 3 as\u00a0Gran Vinya Classificada<\/i>\u00a0and 10 as\u00a0Velles Vinyes<\/i>.<\/p>\n
The Consell Regulador de la DOQ Priorat updated the state of this project on 31st of December 2020, which has 3\u00a0Gran Vinya Classificada<\/i>\u00a0by DOQ Priorat, that peaked the \u201cThe Names of the Land\u201d classification. They are \u201cVall Llach, Mas de la Rosa\u201d by Vall Llach; \u201c1902, Tossal d\u2019en Bou\u201d by Mas Doix, and \u201cL\u2019Ermita\u201d by \u00c1lvaro Palacios. The latter, classified as\u00a0Gran Vinya Classificada<\/i>\u00a0since the 2017 vintage.<\/p>\n
