Description
Cal Batllet cellae was founded in 2000 with the restoration of the old family winery located in Gratallops.
Production comes exclusively from the winery's own vineyards, which are up to one hundred years old, planted on slate slopes in the villages of Gratallops and Torroja in Priorat. The grape varieties grown are primarily the native Carignan and Garnacha varieties for red wines, and the ancient Strangula varieties for white wines.
All wines are classified under the "Vino de Villa" or "Vino de Paraje" labels of the DOQ Priorat wine classification pyramid.
We clearly adhere to a philosophy of terroir wine that expresses the full character of each of the villages where we have our roots: Gratallops and Torroja.
