Clos Galena

Domini de la Cartoixa, located in El Molar, was founded in 2000 by families Pérez i Dalmau, and they named it like this after the Carthusian monks in Scala Dei. Thanks to some vineyards that are carefully looked after and a thourough selection of various varieties, they make small accurate productions, using a traditional system to achieve high quality wines, which include ecological cultivation. These wines are known as Galena and Clos Galena, a very pure mineral that can be found in deep subsoil, and was once obtained in mines near Bellmunt and El Molar.
