Vinícola del Priorat

Located in the heart of Priorat, Vinícola del Priorat is the heir of local wineries from Gratallops (1917), El Lloar (1930), La Vilella Alta (1933) and La Vilella Baixa (1919). Vinícola del Priorat was born in 1991 in order to group the production of local farmers that decided to join together, in need of a technological renovation in the processes of both wine and olive oil production, and by following the latest tendencies in promotion and commercialisation of their products, paying attention to old tradition at all times. DOQ Priorat resulting wines are the result of merging climate, "llicorella" (or slate), old-vine "costers" and people, allowing for a piece of Priorat to become a single glass of wine.
