The DOQ Priorat Regulatory Board, together with participating wineries with the support of the Internationalisation programme of the European Union and INCAVI (Vine and Wine Institute of the Catalan Autonomous Government) have decided to join forces once again to make this meeting of 70 international wine experts possible. These guests from outside the European Union will be able to discover the wines, terroir and the villages where the DOQ Priorat wines are made first hand.

The main development in Espai Priorat 2015 this year, is the guest profile. Participants will be some of the most prestigious sommeliers from Non. European countries such as Switzerland, Russia, Norway, USA, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, China, Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan, South Korea, Singapore, India and Australia. These guests will be joined by different media sources and wine professionals from the United Kingdom, France, The Netherlands, Spain and Catalonia.

Amongst the participants, there will be sommeliers and wine buyers from some of the most important hotel chains and restaurants from these countries, who, after their time at Espai Priorat 2015 will be truly knowledgeable about the DOQ Priorat, its wines and their unique provenance. They will take this newly gained knowledge back with them to their countries of origin and places of work.
